Dani & Tyler’s Kauai Elopement | Sunrise Vows on a Quiet Island Morning
There’s something extra special about a sunrise Kauai elopement — the stillness, the soft light, the way the island is slowly waking up. Dani & Tyler leaned all the way into that island magic, and their day was the sweetest, slowest kind of beginning.
From the moment we met up before dawn, you could feel it: this wasn’t about rushing from one thing to the next. It was about being present. About choosing intention. About starting their marriage in a way that felt completely and fully like them.
A Sunrise Ceremony on an Empty Beach in Kaua‘i
Dani & Tyler woke up before the sun and made their way to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. At that hour, the world felt untouched. The sand stretched endlessly in both directions — and somehow, the beach was entirely theirs.
As the sky shifted from deep blue to soft gold, they stood barefoot at the water’s edge and exchanged vows. Waves rolled in gently behind them, the breeze moved through the palms, and the first light of day wrapped everything in the dreamiest glow.
It was quiet. Emotional. Uncomplicated.
They slipped rings onto each other’s fingers, laughed through happy tears, and then — without any rush — wandered into the ocean hand in hand. No timeline. No audience. Just the two of them soaking in the moment and letting it sink in.
That’s the beauty of a Kauai elopement. You get to slow down enough to actually feel your wedding day.
Barefoot Walks & Ocean Dips
After their ceremony, Dani & Tyler strolled along the shoreline, feet in the sand, water lapping at their ankles. The kind of moments that might feel small on paper — brushing sand off each other’s legs, squeezing hands a little tighter, pausing to watch a wave roll in — somehow felt like the biggest parts of the day.
Sunrise beach elopements on Kauai have this way of turning everything into gold. The light. The laughter. The quiet in-between seconds.
There was no pressure to perform. Just space to exist together in this new chapter.
Coffee, Chickens & Mountain Views
One of our favorite things about this Kauai elopement? What came after the vows.
Instead of packing the day full, Dani & Tyler headed downtown for coffee, wandered the town, and hung out with the island’s famously bold chickens. They explored slowly, taking in the mountain views and letting the morning unfold naturally.
It felt like the most perfect, laid-back ending to such a meaningful sunrise ceremony. Just two people, newly married, sipping coffee and soaking in the fact that they had just promised forever.
It’s such a good reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to be a production. It can look like ocean air and sandy feet… and then coffee and chickens.
The Sweetest Kind of Love
Dani & Tyler are incredibly kind, funny, and effortlessly easy to be around. The kind of couple that makes the entire day feel light and joyful from start to finish. Their laughter is contagious, and their connection feels steady and genuine in a way that instantly puts everyone at ease.
Photographing their Kauai elopement felt less like “working” and more like getting to witness something beautifully simple and honest.
Dani & Tyler, thank you for trusting us to capture such an intentional, joy-filled morning. Your sunrise elopement on Kauai was pure magic, and we’re so grateful we got to be part of it. Congratulations you two! ❤️

We had the most incredible day with Dani & Tyler, and we’re so grateful they chose us to capture their stunning elopement on Kauai!

Here’s what Dani & Tyler said about working with us for their elopement:
“We reached out to Brittany and Jake just a month and a half before deciding to run off to Hawaii and get married, just the two of us. From the very first conversation, Brittany jumped into action and made everything feel easy and exciting instead of overwhelming.
She helped us choose the perfect location and guided us on how to structure our day so it felt intimate, stress free, and never rushed. We truly got to enjoy the day and be present with each other.
We loved that Brittany is ordained, so it really could be just the two of us in our moment. No distractions, no pressure, just us. Brittany and Jake brought such a calm, grounding energy while still making the day feel so magical.
Brittany sent us the most beautiful sneak peek photos THAT AFTERNOON. We had planned a homemade picnic for sunset, and we ended our wedding day sitting together, looking through the photos from that morning. It was the most magical way to close out a perfect day.
We are also so excited to see the video Jake captured. Both my husband and I mentioned afterward how easy and comfortable it felt recording our vows with him. For something so intimate and normally nerve wracking, it felt completely natural. We loved taking that moment after the ceremony to slow down and really absorb the promises we made to each other.
If we had to do it all over again, we would choose to elope with Brittany and Jake a million times over. We cannot recommend them enough.🤍🌴🌺🤍”
