This list has some of the most unique and beautiful wedding venues for an intimate wedding in Hawaii!
When you choose to get married in Hawaii, you’re wanting to have your wedding somewhere beautiful and one-of-a-kind. And if you’d prefer to get married somewhere private or with a handful of guests, these are some of my top recommendations for unique wedding venues in Hawaii that will help make your day even more special.
While the state of Hawaii has eight main islands, the four most visited islands are Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.
This is not even close to an exhaustive list of all of the unique wedding venues for your Hawaii intimate wedding, but below are a handful of my favorite venues!
Kualoa Ranch, Oahu
Kualoa Ranch 4,000-acre private nature reserve and working cattle ranch, and it is located on the windward coast of Oaha. Kualoa is an incredible place to visit! Many movie and TV shows have been filmed on Kualoa, and this beautiful place is somewhere I highly recommend visiting when you’re on Oahu. For weddings, they have several unique locations – whether you’re looking for ocean views or mountain views, or both, you can find them here.
Dillingham Ranch, Oahu
Dillingham Ranch is located on the North Shore of Oahu, and it’s a beautiful venue with several options for your ceremony and reception. One of the most stunning spots to get married on the grounds of Dillingham Ranch is between two rows of enormous palm trees. It’s truly a sight to see!
Waimea Valley, Oahu
Waimea Valley is one of my absolute favorite places on Oahu. It is located on the North Shore, and there is a gorgeous botanical garden that you can stroll through to reach a waterfall at the end (that you can swim in!). There are multiple options here for an indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception. Plus there’s lots of gorgeous beaches nearby that you could visit before or after your wedding. Whether or not you’re getting married at Waimea Valley, it is definitely worth your time to visit!
Ko’olau Ballrooms, Oahu
Ko’olau is an elegant and stunning wedding venue. The views of the Ko’olau Mountains are incredible and the perfect backdrop for a beautiful and unique Hawaii wedding. There’s also an indoor ceremony location and a beautiful reception area here.
Sunset Ranch, Oahu
Sunset Ranch is located on the North Shore of Oahu, and this venue has both ocean and mountain views. There’s also a beautiful indoor area for a reception after your outdoor ceremony. Everything at Sunset Ranch feels so elegant, and it’s a beautiful spot to get married!
Haiku Mill, Maui
Haiku Mill is one of the most unique venues in all of Hawaii. It’s an elegant and stunning location in Haiku that you truly have to see to believe. The grounds are incredible, and you can have both your ceremony and reception in this beautiful place.
Maui Pineapple Chapel, Maui
Maui Pineapple Chapel is located in Kapalua. There are several spots here that would be perfect for your ceremony and reception. There’s gorgeous ocean views, palm trees, and a mix of unique indoor and outdoor spots.
Hana Maui Resort, Maui
Located in Hana, this resort is truly stunning. You can take the famous Road to Hana and see incredible scenery all along the winding road to this beautiful resort. There are many indoor and outdoor spaces here for your ceremony and reception.
Lanai Cat Sanctuary, Lanai
Arguably one of the most unique spots on this list, Lanai Cat Sanctuary is located on the island of Lanai, which is a 45 minute ferry ride from Maui. The sanctuary sits on four beautiful acres, and this sanctuary has taken in over 1,800 cats since 2014. If you want to explore the beautiful island of Lanai and exchange your vows with a bunch of adorable cats, this is the perfect spot for you. And even if you aren’t getting married here, it’s still well worth a visit!
Kona Sea Salt Farm, Big Island
Located on the westernmost point of the Big Island of Hawaii, Kona Sea Salt Farm is a venue like no other. This seven-acre salt farm has incredible ocean views and sunsets, and the grounds here are so unique. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind location, this might just be the perfect spot!
Puakea Ranch, Big Island
Puakea Ranch is located in Hawi along the Kohala Coast. The grounds here feature a huge and stunning monkey pod tree that you can get married under. You can also stay right on the property in one of their charming cottages. Plus, there’s horses on the ranch, and it’s a perfect place to stargaze!
1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, Kauai
This hotel on Hanalei Bay is one of the most incredible places to stay on Kauai. Everything from the grounds to the spa to the rooms are immaculate and unique. If you want to stay and get married somewhere luxurious, look no further – this is the place for you.
The Beach House, Kauai
The Beach House is a restaurant that’s located right along the beach. You can experience beautiful sunsets here, and it’s an incredible place to have your ceremony and reception with some of the best food on the island.
No matter where or how you choose to get married in Hawaii, I’m here to help guide you through the process. There are endless amounts of epic and unique locations to get married in the Hawaiian islands, and I would love to help you pick the perfect location and find a unique spot for the best day of your life!
