2025 was a year of adventures, growth, challenges we never expected, and so many unforgettable elopements.
Jake and I never take for granted being able to run this amazing business together, and as we reflect back on this year, we feel especially grateful to all of you. Every couple, friend, family member, and supporter who has been with us each step of the way. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to run this business that we love. We’re truly grateful for all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
2025 NUMBERS:
- 12 elopements captured
- Over 33,000 miles traveled (including three trips to Hawaii, six trips to the Upper Peninsula, and our first trip to Isle Royale!)
- Over 24,000 photos captured at elopements

Selfies with our incredible couples from this year!

From laughing with couples on beaches and in forests, to navigating some really hard personal moments, to celebrating the pets who make our world feel full — this year challenged us, grounded us, and reminded us what matters most.

We went to the Super Bowl and met Charles Woodson this year!

Our baby Sampson was diagnosed with cancer in March. At 12 years old, he is still full of life and puppy energy – and we elected to do surgery. He made it through surgery and recovery with flying colors, and we’re so grateful to still have our boy almost a year later ❤️

This year was not all sunshine and rainbows. From Sampson’s cancer, to adopting a wonderful dog and having to give him up after Barry and Sam could not adjust, to the most difficult year we’ve had in business… This year challenged and changed us in ways we never imagined.
And through all the highs and lows, we’re ending this year grateful — for the ways we’ve grown, for each other, for our pets, and for every one of you.
To every couple we have worked with…
Thank you for trusting us to capture your days and for taking us along on your adventures.
Thank you for your friendship, your support, and for letting us be a small part of your story.
We are endlessly grateful for you, and we’re so lucky to have the best job in the world.
We adore you all!
xx Brittany & Jake
