Riley & Peterโs Hawaii Sailboat Elopement at Sunrise on Maui
Riley & Peter wanted their elopement day to feel peaceful, adventurous, and completely their own, and I knew Maui would be the perfect place. These two planned a sunrise celebration that blended quiet, heartfelt moments with a once-in-a-lifetime boat ride, and it was nothing short of magical. If youโve ever dreamed of a Hawaii sailboat elopement, this one will give you all the inspiration.
A Sunrise First Look & Secluded Beach Ceremony
We started the morning before the sun was even up. Riley slipped into her dress as the sky slowly turned gold, and we made our way to their first look location. Iโll never forget the way Peter lit up when he turned around and saw herโhis reaction said it all. (Scroll down to see the moment. Itโs pure joy.)
After taking a few quiet moments together, we headed to the beach for their ceremony. The timing couldnโt have been betterโthe early light was soft and golden, and the beach was completely empty. With the sound of the waves and their vows to each other, it felt like time stood still.
A Peaceful Stroll & Sail Around the Island
After their ceremony, we took a slow walk along the shoreline. These in-between moments are always some of my favoritesโthe nerves have faded, and thereโs this peaceful, glowy energy thatโs so special to capture. Riley & Peter soaked it all in, barefoot in the sand with the ocean stretching out beside them.
Then came the highlight of their Hawaii elopement: a private boat ride around the island! We met at the harbor, boarded the sailboat, and set off to explore the coastline. With the wind in their hair and the salt air all around, they toasted, laughed, and took in the beauty of Maui from the water. It was the perfect mix of adventure and intimacyโand such a fun way to celebrate being newly married!
Why a Hawaii Sailboat Elopement Might Be Perfect for You
If youโre dreaming of an elopement thatโs both romantic and adventurous, a Hawaii sailboat elopement is such a unique way to do it. Whether youโre sailing along the coast of Maui, snorkeling with sea turtles, or watching the sun rise or set over the ocean, being out on the water adds a whole new level of magic.
You donโt need a big guest list or traditional timeline to have a meaningful, beautiful wedding day. Riley & Peterโs elopement is proof that when you focus on what matters mostโyour connection, the experience, and the joy of starting your life togetherโyou create memories that will last a lifetime.
Congratulations, Riley & Peter!
It was such a joy getting to know you both and documenting this beautiful chapter of your story. Thank you for letting us be a part of your Maui elopement day!
