Paola & Christian’s Mackinac Island Elopement

Paola & Christian had a truly incredible elopement at one of my favorite places – Mackinac Island!

Mackinac Island is a very unique place, located on Lake Huron, where there are no motor vehicles allowed. You get around by walking, biking, or horse-drawn carriage. Visiting Mackinac Island is truly like taking a step back in time!

Christian’s grandmother owns a home on the island, and they got married on the same deck that Christian proposed to Paola on. They’ve been visiting Mackinac for years, and getting married there was so special for them!

They got ready with Christian’s mom, grandmother, and aunt (who officiated their wedding). Their elopement day included a ceremony on the dock, champagne, cake, and jumping into Lake Huron! Paola & Christian were so much fun to spend the day with – they spent the whole time laughing and having a great time together.

Jake and I got married on the island five years ago, and it’s such a special place. We absolutely love visiting Mackinac, and being able to capture an elopement as amazing as the one these two had was incredible.

Congratulations Paola & Christian! ♥️

This seagull has been visiting Christian’s family for years! He even got to share some cake

The champagne got away from Christian 😆

Paola & Christian had such a fun elopement day, and I’m so happy that they chose us to capture this day for them!
