Ashley & Abe’s Michigan Waterfall Elopement

Ashley & Abe eloped in the Upper Peninsula, and it was truly an amazing day!

After getting ready with their families, they had their ceremony on the Lake Superior coast surrounded by their loved ones. Right as their ceremony started, rain started pouring! But the rain didn’t dampen their joy, and they went on to have an incredible day.

Ashley & Abe spent their wedding day exploring some of the best spots in the Upper Peninsula! They hiked along the coast, went on a crazy hike to reach beautiful waterfalls, and ended their evening with a hike up a foggy mountain.

These two spent the whole day making each other laugh, and I’m so happy that I was able to capture this amazing day for them. Congratulations Ashley & Abe!

Ashley & Abe had a beautiful elopement day, and I’m so happy that they chose us to capture this day for them!

Here’s what Ashley & Abe had to say about working with us for their elopement:

“My husband and I could not be more pleased and obsessed with our wedding photos! Brittany and Jake made the whole experience so easy and fun! It was exactly the kind of chill yet active wedding day we dreamed of. Neither of us are very comfortable having our pictures taken, so we loved that Brittany just snapped away while we were just being US. There was a lot of rainfall in the days preceding (and the day of) our wedding day, and there was a spot in the waterfall trail that was SO MUDDY, and Jake whipped out his raincoat and laid it down so I could get across without getting my shoes and dress all muddy. Both of them just went above and beyond! If you are looking for an intimate, unique, chill, and fun wedding day, you will love working with Brittany Hamann Photography!”
