We put a lot of work into your elopement day. From the beginning of getting to know each other, to the planning, to the execution of a truly incredible day, the delivery of your images, and finally — the creation of your wedding album — your experience is one that should conclude with something as grand as the rest of it. I want your photos to live beyond the day, beyond your phone or computer.

There’s something special about holding your photos in your hands and reliving the day without a screen between you.

Printing your photos matters.

Album Sizes & Spreads

Heirloom albums come in three sizes:

  • 12x12 album
  • 10x10 album
  • 8x8 album

Each album has the option for additional spreads to be added.

Custom Covers

Cover options for your album include suede, velvet, linen, or leather. Each album cover includes custom engraving - you can include your names, location, and/or date.

Lay Flat Spine

The way the albums are bound creates a lay flat spine, which allows us to print images across the entire spread, utilizing as much space as possible and ensuring that we don’t lose any of your image to the curvature of a traditional binding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a spread?

A spread is when the album is laying open and you can see both the left and right pages. The album company I use is specialized in their approach to binding albums, and this allows us to print images over the binding, instead of making a template of images for the right page and the left page. This allows us to show off more images in larger format for you to admire!

Why are albums priced the way they are?

To put it simply, there are plenty of things I am frugal about in life - but the heirloom album that your biggest day is printed in is not one of them. The album printer I use is exclusive to photographers and run by a small team of dedicated people who makes each album by hand. They settle for nothing short of perfect and their integrity for doing the job well is evident. Shutterfly books are great for your family reunion - but trust me when I say, your legacy album will blow your mind. Plus, they last for a lifetime!

How many images can go in our album?

This is dependent on the album size, but I typically don't recommend having more than 2-4 images per spread on a 8x8 album or 4-6 images per spread on an 10x10 album, simply because including so many images makes the images small. With a 12x12 album, you can fit 6-8 images per spread, but that can look cluttered if you include too many of those spreads. I encourage couples to pick their absolute favorite images so that you can show your favorites at a larger size!
