Alisha and Jason had such a fun fall elopement day at Sleeping Bear!
These two always knew that a big wedding wasn’t for them, so they had a small wedding with just a few family and friends. They rented a gorgeous Airbnb for them and all of their guests and started the day with getting ready separately before their first look by the water.
Then we headed to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore to spend some time exploring the area. Before their ceremony, they read letters from their parents and then FaceTimed with each of them. Their guests met us there for their beautiful wedding ceremony overlooking the water. It rained on and off during the afternoon, but the sun came out just for their wedding ceremony. Later that evening, Alisha and Jason met their guests back at the Airbnb for a first dance and incredible dinner with a private chef.
Alisha surprised Jason by wearing the leather jacket she was wearing the first time they met, and she had Mrs. Schott embroidery added under the collar. These two are definitely my kind of people – laughing all day and even quoting Michael Scott in their wedding vows. Thank you Alisha and Jason for choosing me to capture this gorgeous day for you two, and congratulations to you both!
