Sam & Landen had their intimate wedding in the Upper Peninsula, and it was an incredible day!
Sam & Landen started the day off with a first look before having an intimate ceremony for their Presque Isle wedding, surrounded by their families. They rented the gazebo in Presque Isle so they had a private location to exchange vows. After the ceremony, Sam & Landen hiked around the coast of Lake Superior together and went for a walk in downtown Marquette. They had dinner with their families, and then ended the day with a hike up a mountain to watch the sunset! On the summit, they toasted with champagne and read handwritten letters to each other.
Sam & Landen had the best luck all day! You never know what kind of weather you’ll get in the UP in May – but it was 70 and gorgeous all day. At one point, there was a 95% chance of thunderstorms, but all we got was a few raindrops.
These two were so much fun to spend the day with, we had a great time bonding over our cats and agreeing that Shake from Love is Blind is the worst. I’m so happy that they chose us to capture their day!
Congratulations Sam & Landen! ♥️

Sam & Landen wrote each other handwritten letters to read at the end of their elopement day
Sam & Landen had such a fun elopement day in the Upper Peninsula, and we had such a great time capturing this incredible day for them!
Here’s what Sam & Landen had to say about working with us for their day:
“We had an amazing elopement day thanks to Brittany! Her expertise in elopement planning was extremely valuable and the timelines she worked out for us made the day go smoothly. Brittany and her husband made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. The preview pictures we received the next day are all so beautiful and we can’t wait for the rest of them!”
