Tiffany & Chad’s Sleeping Bear Hiking Elopement

Tiffany & Chad had an incredible elopement day hiking all over one of my favorite spots in Michigan – Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore!

They started their Sleeping Bear hiking elopement day with a morning hike to a private spot to exchange vows. Their only witness was an owl who was fascinated watching us! 🦉 After vows, Tiffany & Chad went for a walk on the beach along Lake Michigan, and then went downtown for some ice cream.⁠

Tiffany & Chad had such a fun elopement day, and they spent the whole day laughing and enjoying every second. It rained all day long, but they fully embraced the weather and didn’t let it dampen the joy of their day. Jake and I had the best day with these two, and we’re so happy they chose us to capture their elopement!⁠

Tiffany & Chad exchanged vows at this beautiful private spot

The only witness for Tiffany & Chad’s vow exchange was this owl! He stayed and watched us the whole time we were in this spot.

Tiffany & Chad’s pup, Nigel, was a little too anxious to be at their elopement, but they brought photos of him so he could still be part of their day! We also did an extra photo session after their elopement so they could have photos with Nigel – scroll all the way to the end to see this adorable pup 🐾

After the beach, Tiffany & Chad went to downtown Traverse City to end the day with some ice cream!

“Brittany and her husband Jake were absolutely incredible and made our elopement better than we could’ve ever imagined!

Right from the start Brittany made us feel completely at ease. She explained the process and answered any questions we had, and helped us narrow down every little detail about the day. We were so overwhelmed and had no idea where to start, but once we connected with Brittany, things just started to fall into place. She provided so many great resources and guides that helped us get on track.

When we finally met Brittany and Jake, it truly felt like we were just hanging out with our friends! They were an absolute blast to spend time with. My husband (omg, I can finally say that!) and I usually feel super awkward in front of a camera, but Brittany and Jake made us feel so comfortable and calm the entire day and it 100% showed in the photos.

We received our sneak peaks so quickly and were absolutely BLOWN AWAY. We can actually SEE our love radiating from the photos! Brittany and Jake captured our goofy personalities perfectly and made the entire experience fun and stress free.

Working with Brittany was the absolute best decision we could’ve made. We’ll cherish this experience for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for everything, Brittany and Jake!!!”
