Chloe & Colby had the sweetest waterfall elopement in Michigan!
These two reached out to me just a few days before their elopement to capture their day. They were open to locations, but they wanted to be in the Upper Peninsula, and they wanted to see waterfalls. So we spent the day with the largest waterfalls in Michigan!
Chloe and Colby had such a fun and laid-back day. They spent time exploring all around the park, seeing all of the different waterfalls in the area.
One of the things that makes these waterfalls so unique is the color – it actually comes from tannins which is from plants and tree bark that soak in the shoreline. Some have nicknamed these falls “The Root Beer Falls” because of the unique color. They are definitely the most impressive waterfalls I’ve ever seen!
Chloe and Colby’s love for each other was clear from the moment I met them, and I’m so glad that I was able to capture their beautiful elopement! Congratulations to you both!
