Lauren and Justin had such a beautiful elopement day in the Upper Peninsula!
These two experienced so many different types of weather in one day (classic Michigan weather). The day started off cold and windy, with bits of sunshine in between the clouds. We got rained on a few times later in the day too, which led to so many rainbows! Despite the constant changing weather, these two were incredibly happy the entire day.
The day started with Lauren and Justin getting ready together, then their vow and ring exchange, followed by some hiking and exploring around the area. After their first hike, they picked up some lunch, and then set up a picnic at the second hike of the day. After we were done hiking, we went back to their Airbnb for a bonfire with some s’mores and a walk to the beach (where we got rained on again!)
It makes me so happy to be able to capture days like Lauren and Justin’s, it was absolutely beautiful and full of love. Despite the rain and the cold, these two were smiling and laughing all day. Thank you both for choosing me to capture this perfect day, I’m so happy for you both!
