Rachel and Jordan’s Upper Peninsula elopement was the most incredible day!
These two have been together for almost nine years, they’re moving out of state and wanted to get married in Michigan before they go. They knew a traditional wedding wasn’t for them, and eloping in the Upper Peninsula was the perfect choice!
Rachel and Jordan began their day by getting ready at their Airbnb with their parents and having a first look before hiking. For the first hike, they explored some waterfalls, had a picnic in the woods, and toasted with beers from their hometowns. Then we hiked up a mountain for Rachel and Jordan to exchange their vows and rings at sunset. It was the most beautiful and moving vow exchange I’ve ever seen. After watching the sunset, we hiked back down with headlamps, and ended the night with Taco Bell (their favorite!) around a bonfire.
These two are so adventurous, and Rachel definitely wins for dirtiest dress of any bride I’ve ever photographed! This was honestly the most beautiful day, and I’m so happy I was able to capture it.
Thank you to you both for letting be part of your day, not judging my weird taste in driving music, making sure I didn’t fall off a cliff, and leaving an insane amount of dress sparkles in my car.
These two had an absolutely beautiful day, and I’m so happy that they chose me to capture this incredible day for them!
