Leave No Trace is a set of ethics and best practices to follow in order to enjoy and protect the great outdoors. By reducing our impact on the environment, we can come back to these spots year after year, and people can enjoy these locations for generations to come.

Leave No Trace has a set of seven principles to follow:

1. Plan ahead and prepare
2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces
3. Dispose of waste properly
4. Leave what you find
5. Minimize campfire impacts
6. Respect wildlife
7. Be considerate of other visitors

As a Leave No Trace Aware Photographer, I provide all of my couples with a Leave No Trace guide to explain the principles that we will follow on your wedding day. Following these guidelines won’t limit your celebration – but it will help us make sure that we’re reducing our impact on the environment and enjoying your unique location in a sustainable and responsible way.
